We had a great Thanksgiving week at Lake Mead with Mom & Dad Robinson and some other friends and family. Linda towed the RV out to the lake on Thursday at lunch time, and I met her out there to help park it. It wasn't too busy yet, but by Friday it started to fill up a little. We were fortunate to get spots 102 and 103. The two best sites overlooking the lake with some nice trees for shade. Mom and Dad came out on Saturday, and they stayed until the following Saturday. We had lots of good food, played cards, had a few campfires, relaxed, and even watched a movie to test our inverter. One evening we had dinner at the Dillinger, and one morning we had breakfast at the Coffee Cup in Boulder City. Dad grilled some filet mignon steaks. They were perfect. We cooked salmon and we also made a seafood boil with shrimp. The daytime temps were at about 70 degrees and the nighttime temps in the upper 40s and lower 50s. All in all, the weather was quite nice. I was afraid we would get bored after 10 days at Lake Mead, but we never did. We had a lot of fun and relaxation. It would be fun to do it again!
