Rincon Beach, California February 2013

We left home on Wednesday after work, and drove to the Outpost Cafe & Truck Stop in Oak Hills (near Hesperia, CA).  After we got there, we tested our new catalytic heater.  It worked pretty good! The next morning we headed out early, and drove to the Rincon Beach Campground.  Rincon Beach is on the Ventura and Santa Barbara County Line.  We got a spot (site 9) with room to park at an angle, and still have a beautiful view of the beach and ocean.  Cindy & Tim were leaving that day, but we got spend some time with them.  The rest of the time, we didn't do much but relax, walk on the beach, and talk to some fellow campers.  On Saturday, we drove up to Solvang and did some shopping and strolled around the town.  We also visited the Lincourt Winery and had a wine-tasting.  The weather was almost perfect for the entire weekend.  And the drive wasn't bad either.  It was a fairly short trip, but we enjoyed ourselves!
Lots of RVs camping along the beach

What a beautiful place to camp
