Another quick trip to Lake Mead. We decided to leave the house on Thursday, after work. When we got to Boulder Beach Campground, it was completely full. We were both shocked. So, we decided to go next door to RV Village Campground with the full hookups. At about $34 a night, it was a little more expensive than we were planning, but still worth it. We ended up in Site 906, and we had a pretty good view of the lake from our Living Room window. The daytime temps ended up being in the low 80s. This was pretty unusual for this time of year, but really nice. While we were here, I ended up installing our Wilson Cellular Amplifier and Antenna System. It was a real challenge getting the cables routed from the rooftop, and through the walls, and down to the basement. But when it was finished, it really worked quite well. On Saturday night, the campground had a singing duet at the Village Hall. It was a husband/wife team that was just absolutely great! They played guitar, and performed songs like Rawhide, Desperado, House of the Rising Sun and other ballads. And on Sunday morning before we left, we managed to make it down the the Coffee Cup in Boulder City where we enjoyed their world famous Huevos Rancheros.
