Life at Hermit Park

We're at the halfway point of our stay here at Hermit Park - in Estes Park, Colorado.  So far, it has been a really, really awesome place to spend the summer.  The weather ranges from the 60's to the low 80's, with occasional afternoon rain.  So we've been seeing a variety of nice weather.  It's really been enjoyable.  Linda and I have been staying busy by visiting many of the surrounding cities and villages.  There are plenty of metropolitan areas (Fort Collins, Boulder, Denver).   Then there are the quaint little towns like Idaho Springs, Central City, Nederland...and many more.  We have much more exploring to do.  Lots of things to see and do.  We even spent one night camping in a tent up at Rocky Mountain National Park.  It's only about 15 minutes from here.

I was over here looking for your pretty wife, Linda...and I found her! It's fun to see where you are and what you are getting to do! I know there are a lot of Emerald Lakes but I wonder if this is the one my family hiked to years ago. It was an 11 mile hike and gorgeous! I know there was snow down on the bank of the lake and it was in the summer when we hiked there. I wonder...! Tell Linda HEY! Hugs, Diane
