Texas Hill Country - Nov 5-Dec 5, 2014

I must say that Texas is much nicer than we expected it to be.  We stayed at Guadalupe River RV Resort in Kerrville.  It's located in Texas Hill Country, West of San Antonio and Austin. Although our site was not the best...there were plenty of nice sites, and lots of amenities.  While staying in Kerrville, we were able to get out and explore many of the nearby cities and towns.  If we're in Texas again, we would like to return to the area.

Guadalupe River Trail at the campground

Another view of the trail by the river

One of the many wooden swings at the RV park

The River Rock Saloon at the RV Park.  Every night they had a campfire, and on certain nights they served 22oz drafts for only $1.25...We can't buy our own beer that!!  This place was awesome!

An odd attraction in Austin - the Baylor Street Art Wall

It's one of the city's largest graffiti displays

Living the dream! Glad the two of you are having such a grand time! Hey we are getting really close to the retirement decision, so I am loving hearing about all the places you visit!
