Quartzsite February 2014

We took a short trip to Quartzsite, Arizona to meet up with our friends Doug and Michelle.  They have been coming to Quartzsite with a group of Casita owners for over 5 years.  This year, there were nearly 80 Casitas or similar type trailers.  They are a fun group of people.  We enjoyed Pizza at Silly Al's... and Fish & Chips at the Quartzsite Yacht Club (Their motto is 'Welcome Aboard - Long Time no Sea').  It was also a good time to visit some of the local vendors and get some of the RV parts and accessories we've been looking for.

Here's a big Thank You to the Casita Club for letting us stay with their group!

Our 15th Wedding Anniversary at Rincon Parkway

We spent 6 nights at Rincon Parkway Campground.  It's located between Ventura and Santa Barbara, California.  This Ventura County park is situated on an abandoned stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway.  We enjoyed lots of relaxation and walks on the beach.  We only left the campground for our Anniversary Day.  We drove in to Santa Barbara, and strolled along State Street with some good hot coffee.  After shopping for a while, we stopped in at O'Malley's Irish Pub for a few drinks. We topped off the day with a walk to Stearns Wharf where we enjoyed some delicious fresh seafood at the Santa Barbara Shellfish Company.  I had the Cioppino (best I've ever had!), and Linda had some delicious Lobster Tacos.  It was a great anniversary!
