Nelson's Family Campground, CT Apr 15-23, 2016

We're getting closer to our final summer destination.  Right now, we're here at Nelson's Family Campground.  It's in East Hampton, Connecticut...about 20 miles outside of Hartford.

We spent one day in New Haven, CT.  It's the home of Yale University.  This is about as close as I'll ever get to an Ivy League Education.

New Haven has some uniquely beautiful buildings that are awe inspiring.

The town of Mystic is loaded with it's 19th century charm

This is the drawbridge that crosses over the Mystic river

Trail at Wadsworth Falls State Park.  I'm sure it looks a lot different when the trees get their leaves later in the summer.

It was about a 4 mile hike to see several waterfalls at the park

We took some time out to wax the RV.  Not a fun job, but she sure looks pretty afterward.

Linda got this picture of Lake Pocotopaug on one of our walks outside the campground

We met up with Tony one morning.  He is one of Linda's Instagrammer friends.  It was really great meeting him.
