Lake Mead - Boulder Beach - NV Nov 22-25, 2016

After leaving Arizona, we headed for Lake Mead - Boulder Beach Campground, where we boondocked for several days.  It was a good chance to fire up the generator again.  While there, our grandson Myles stayed with us for 2 nights.  He is a happy guy and a lot of fun to be around.  We celebrated Thanksgiving at Brian and Terri's house again this year.  So much good food and conversation!  We really have a lot to be thankful for!

Myles, Me and Linda went on a bike ride from the campground down to the beach.  Since the Lake Mead water level has dropped so much, it was a long ride back up the hill!

Myles is already 5-1/2 years old and fun to hang out with!

Brian, Terri and their growing family

Our campsite #54 was pretty nice...with a great view of the lake from the window!

FYI...My good friends,

After spending 1,509 weeks working for the wonderful state of Nevada I am going to retire.

This is my last week working for District 1 Communications.

I have seen a lot of changes in the way we communicate over the past 29 years.

Cell phone, computers where rare back in 1996, when I started at NDOT.

Now every employee has at least one.

I have no definite plans other than enjoy retirement.
