Maine in June - 2016

Our second month in Maine has warmed up a bit, the trees have new leaves, and the campground is getting busier.  It's like a whole new experience.  We had a special visit from Jessica and Myles, so that made it even better!  We had a great time visiting with them.

Myles and Bruce went on a short train ride in Portland.  It's a narrow gauge railroad.  The rails are only 2 feet apart...compared to a standard track of 4 feet-8 in.  Myles got to ring the bell with the engineer.

We had marshmallows and s'mores

We're in downtown Boston near the Quincy Market

Nothin' better than chocolate ice cream!!

Relaxing on the Presumscot River in Westbrook, Maine

This is the El Galeon ship.  It was only in Portland for a week, so it was nice to take a short tour on board.  It's a replica of the 16th-17th century vessel...and it travels around the world.

Our first visit to the Portland Head Light House.  It was under renovation, but still a beautiful setting.

Our next visit to the Light House, and it's even more stunning!
